I have had a leucistic Pantherophis obsoleta lindheimeri for a few years now. Post-shed it will retain a pink cast to it for several days before returning to it's usual stark white. However, after the most recent shed(2 weeks ago) it has a very pronounced splotchy pink coloration and it is not going away. He has since eaten, doesn't appear to be sensitive to touch and otherwise appears to be in good health. Might that drastic change in color be merely an artifact of getting old or might I be looking at something that requires treatment? Sorry, no photos yet...still at work.
