Found this on the wall of the house. What I thought was an eggsack had little legs, and I realized it was the male. The closer picture was edited for brightness.

Actually, I'm not sure if they are copulating after all. The female does not respond when blown on or when a leg is touched. She's kind of hanging on the wall as if attached by webbing... The smaller spider does respond to stimuli.

Um....Those two arent even the same species. Im thinking that the little one is eating the big one. THe big one is a hobo (Ive kept many of these as pets) and the little one, Im not sure, but its got a much different type of body. Long, thin, spindly legs, and a fat abdomen, with a tiny carapace. The hobo is much more proportionate.

You're right. Also, I didn't know until now exactly what a Hobo looked like. Thanks!

BTW, the little is still (as of 20 minutes ago)... attached. Thinking I may collect it as it looks quite interesting. Not too keen on catching Hobos for food though ;)

No, you probably shouldnt. They get huge, are agressive, and apparently they have a nasty bite. They are a favorite of mine though, and I have enjoyed having them as pets in the past. :D I even burried one that I was attatched to. :(
