Yes, the mealworm could possibly kill your spiderling. I pinch the heads of the mealworms before I toss them to my spiders.

um

hey can I have some advice so i can crap on it in my next post?

the answer is actuall yes. BD is correct a meal worm super worm or crix can kill your tiny sling if you dont do the old crush head manuver. If your so sure , dont come crying around here if you leave a sling unattended with a prey item that kills it...

Well thats good you took it out but I figure the Spiderling was trying to protect its self and defending itself from its meal. You have to becareful with spiderling they are easy targets from things like that if you are not careful. You were lucky the Food didn't eat the one who was going to eat it.

How exactly can a mealworm kill I spiderling.. Yes I can see the potential but does it just crush it or something cuss I didnt know mealworms had anything to do any physical Damage maybe bludgering from the squirming? correct me if Im wrong but if a sling maybe half the mealworms size sat atop it with fangs burried and managed to stay ontop wouldn't the mealworm die from the venom.. Cuss all it really can do is squirm.. no?

Mealworms can bite, have you ever seen a super mealworm, you don't want to stick your hand in with them.

I have got large mealworms for my bearded dragon and have smashed their heads to keep them from biting. It is even rumored that a mealworm can eat its way out of a retiles stomach if the reptile dosen't chew it well enough.

Remember Meal worms are insects that can chew throught the epidermis of a corn kernal and eat away at the hard corn inside.....HOW do you suppose they do that....with soft lips? :D ;P

?

I doubt a mealworm could kill a full grown T but you never know what could happen if it got a bite out of a spot that could bleed.

Not sure but I would use the head crush method to be safe.

No. A full grown T has all it's defenses and size on it's side. A spiderling is little and soft and the mealworm is way bigger than it.
