I have a tall container - about 30", which I have planned for Bungee's juvie digs once he grows a bit, and I was thinking it would be pretty if I gave him a small live plant to web on/in instead of more plastic.

I have a large number of spider plant seedlings, and I was wondering if one of those would be okay for him, or if the plant would have chemicals which are unsafe for Ts?

I have several containers with those in them. The plants themselves are fine. Make sure though you wash them completly.
Leaves stems and roots. Do not use the dirt that came in the pots if you purchased the plants in pots.
If these are off sets from a plant you own already. Thats better. Less likely to be inundated with pesticides.

If these are offsets from your own, wash them still.
Mildly soapy hot water. I mean really wash them. Don't be shy. And rinse them in hot clear water for a while to flood the stems and leaves and flow out any thing in tiny tight spaces.

Don't worry about killing the plant. It's going to live or it won't. But plant's cost nothing compared to a T. So scrub it good. Roots and all. Especialy of it was purchased potted. Toss the dirt and get all that mess out of the roots.
So far I use "snake" plants and "spider" plants.
