This is a fishing spider Dolomedes Tenebrosus
Shes my girl, had her for 1 year and 2 months I think now. I bred her with a male, the copulation was awsome! Not like your normal "Orb weaver" or Black widow copulation, nope! I diden't get pictures of that, or videod it... Ugh, gotta hate when ya can't find both things, or to exited to wait for them..LOL! Anyways heres some pictures of her Befor the egg sack and after;

Had to take these..heh;

Some more;

Her first meal after her first egg sack ;

And of course we need to add all the little 300 kids ; )

All the babies are gone from the last batch half sold and the rest let go...Her 3rd. and final egg sack should be coming up soon... She probaly will die after this one unfortuantly, since shes a True spider, they live a year to two... unlike Tarantulas.
Oh well, life must go on!

Take care,
Crysta

the pictures are maybe less in quality but i really envy you for that high quality Dolomedes that's on it :D :clap: (it's still an arachno-board and not a photography-board !!!)

ow yeah,... that centipede isn't a scolopendra spec.,... it doesn't have 21 segments as i can quickly count,... it's rather a Lithobius spec. ;)

YAYAY!
She had her 3rd egg sack!... But its small, I dont know if theyw ill make it, I am thinking of taking it away from her so she could eat, and maybe live longer but i dont know, maybe I should just let life take its course, the eggs wont make it if i take it from here though...
