Hey guys! Found this guy hanging from a web outside my house, was amazed by the sheer size of it - it's about half as long as my index finger (legs included), which is bigger than I'm used to seeing for web spiders that hang around houses here in GA. It's also a bit hairier - covered in fine hairs, and the legs are banded and have spikes. There's also a pattern on the bottom of the abdomen - six white dots, in two rows of three. Hopefully you can see it in the pics.

Was wondering if anyone could ID it?

Yep, those suckers pop up regular as clockwork up here in NC around this time of year. Purdy spidres but they spin their webs in the most annoying places (like betwteen a tree and the side of the house where you walk to the car.)
