Spider ID??

Alright folks. This is going to be a tough one. I need to ID this guy and I have no info about him. Where it's from,etc. Good luck! :wall:

to me it looks like an orb weaver spider

EDIT : after observation, it does'nt really look like an orb weaver

At first site, it looks like some kind of Microthena. I can't guess beyond that. Good luck yourself! Ha! I will keep up with this one

looks similar to a Micrathena sagittata

If it is, it could be form anywhere in the northern U.S. to Canada. (at least Ontario in Canada)

Alright, How about Gasteracantha cancriformis??? I'm thinking thats my closest guess so far. Hows my aim??

I took the picture at school. Unfortunately it's the only one I have of it. I'm still stumpped.
