sperm web?

my brocklehursti just spent about an hour spinning a web and is now undersneath it upside down rubbing his abdomen against it. is this a sperm web?

Probably is. If it is he will probably tear it down soon. One of my just matured male Poecilotheria regalis just put a drop of sperm on the underside of his web. It's pretty cool to watch him go through the whole process.

yeah, i'm pretty sure. i just watched the sperm come out and now he's on top rubbing his pedalpalps on it. i'm shipping him out on mon or tues to mate.

Very cool news, Perry! Doug's a great guy. I'm sure
you'll enjoy working with him. I wish you luck on getting
brocklehursti babies. Even thought geniculatas are really
cool, brocklehursti's are even more rare and more expensive.

What happened to the other pic you posted at petbugs?
This one is nice, but I'm pretty sure the other one was a
different pose where you could see his "hooks"
