Species you'd love to see in the hobby

Let's say we could bring in any species without all the drab stuff that goes with it (illegal collecting, smuggling, wild population dwindling etc etc): what species or genera that aren't currently (or barely) available would you personally be most thrilled to see? What species have been in the hobby but disappeared that you want to see back again?

For me, I'd love it if we could have more Typhochlaena, especially the T. costae. They look like little punks, in the best way. Also more of the rarer Cyriocosmus, and the oddball Hysterocrates elephantiasis would be fun.

Poecilotheria rajaei and Phoneyusa/Hysterocrates elephantiasis.

But those will not come into the hobby ever if not for a long time.

the chicken spider from Brazil.
Pamphobeteus sp. "Araña Pollito"
The real question is what is the real "chicken spider"? A lot of the WC specimens that are brought into the hobby are not from the area of the chicken spider or "Arana Pollito". Why? Because the supposed real chicken spider are in the Madre de Dios area which is a protected park and area. So a lot of what was collected in the wild into the hobby were specimens of Pamphobeteus that were close to the Madre de Dios border. Which people were hoping for it the be the chicken spider since it's close to the location. What was brought in the first time in the past were just a bunch of P. antinous which people later on re-labeled as P. sp. "Big Black" or P. antinous "Big Black". But who knows? I can't say the P. sp. "arana pollito" in the hobby now are the ones from the Madre de Dios area or not.

Are you talking about Pamphobeteus sp. "Araña Pollito"?
Yeah I think that’s it but it’s super rare and even I found a job the peanuts they pay won’t buy one. I think I’m talking about the communal chicken spider.
I wonder just what on earth the spider did to those researchers for them to give it that name lol.
maybe threat posed a lot??it just wanted a hug ?
what’s it’s common name Lucifer or the devil 👿 spider??

I'd like to see Phrixotrichus scrofa make a comeback! There were a few available when I first got into the hobby at the end of 2019, but I haven't seen any for quite a while

They're available here in the EU, so chances are they will be imported to you guys in the future.

Yeah I saw that but even if I could find a low paying job no way I could swing $350 per sling. Thanks anyways hopefully breeders will make it a common species. Any job suggestions post them here;
