Around 2weeks ago my some of my crickets had some tiny white dots on there head. I wasnt worried about it. Then 5 days after it got worse.

I thought this was odd because i never had anything like this. Ive been using crickets has my tarantulas food. Each day leading up to now it has been getting worse. You could clearly see the white dots on their heads, there was alot of white dots on each crickets.

4 days ago i decided to seperate some crickets. Tub1 and Tub2. The new crickets i put in Tub2 and the white dots on the crickets head began to start to go away there was still some.

Todays around 5hrs ago i put in the crickets from the original tub (tub1) in the freezer. And when i took it out all the crickets. There was aloootttt of the white dots on each cricket. If i looked extremely close it i could see some move (but i dont if it was my eyes playing with me 😅).

Pls let me know.

Mites possibly? Oftentimes people get grain mites in their feeder insect colonies, but this sounds like an infestation. Add photos if you can so we can help out more.

Yeh you have mites. Either get a species of predatory mite/earwigs to eat them, or start over and thoroughly clean/sanitize the enclosure. Personally I’d go with the second option and keep things a little drier/cleaner to discourage an infestation.
Sometimes, you can put pieces of fruit that will draw the mites to it and just throw it out. I doubt that would eradicate the problem though

Grain/soil mites, had these in one of my roach colonies recently as I'd not cleaned it in a while an the egg crates were kinda beat up. Removed the roaches, gave their tub a quick wash out, gave them fresh egg crates to hide in, popped the roaches back in and that was the last I saw of them. There's no need to throw out feeders because of mites.
