something odd

in 1 of my scorp cages i saw this poor guy today. its the beetle from a superworm that didn't totally morph out. he's got the head of a beetle but the abdomen of the alien looking grub stage.
here are some pics(i didn't say they were good)

and i put it in alcohol if anyone wants it.

it appears to me his outer rear shell was removed. I've seen it before probably lost it to the scorp, the underside of their shells on al lbeats are very...bizzar

Probably got caught in it's pupa.

I saw those all the time when I had my old T. molitor colony. It's a beetle that didn't moult out of it's pupa quite right.
