Hey! I just found this on the side of my house and thought it was kinda interesting, so I figured you guys might too.

(Pholcus Phalangioides (I think I'm not the best with the types of cellar spiders) eating a Latrodectus Mactans)

In some places it's human eat human. Specific parts of Papua New Guinea primarily... Though if I'm being honest cannibalism just seems like a good way to get very very sick.

Send em over here. I travel to deep wood and high moose areas. Even 12 feet fence with warnings. Still never saw one ☹
If you want to see moose, AB foothills or anywhere in BC. There are approximately 850,000 moose in Canada, you'll find one. Keep up the search 😁👍

One of the better examples of an enigma in nature. Weak venom, no sticky webs and pretty inept at catching flying prey, Also inclined to be highly social among it's fellow species and possibly family, but a real and present danger, a nemesis to just about any other spider family member entering their web.
A latrodectus, in the top five of most toxic venoms, easily gets turned into a meal.

Moose. Major adrenaline rush. Olympic peninsula, driving down and steep slope going around 60+ MPH, pouring rain. I was driving a van overloaded with nearly a ton of lumber in back, those things well known for fish-tailing during heavy braking, and a moose suddenly dashes across the road. It slipped and went down, scrambling to get back on it's feet.
People often don't realize just how large a moose is - myself included - dwarfs all but the largest horses plus that gigantic rack, until it looks like it is going to come right through the windshield.
I felt the impending fishtail as I braked and started to swerve to the oncoming traffic lane as it got back on it's feet and leaped off the road.

dancing didnt save the slaves. I get what you are saying though.

please dont take this as an opportunity to open a debate. I think we are on the same side on this.

When I first came to Thailand I discovered Pholcids, Like, big time. They got me hooked on spiders. Zillions of them everywhere, meek unassuming room decorations. I coaxed one to move it's web off to the side a little so it would poop in the soap dish. I spent countless hours watching them ineffectually trying to wrangle mosquitoes. I had to catch the mossies in my room and toss them into the webs.,., over and over and over. Will You Please Get A Grip!!!
Pholcids were my pets and room mates since the other common spiders were 'I'm outta here' Huntsman.
So great, I'm an animal lover surrounded by them my entire life and I'm suddenly reduced to ballerinas with the ability to stuff food in their mouths of an inept toddler,:wacky: and a bunch of wall climbing Walter Paytons. o_O

My intro to the huntsman was one shimmying down a curtain. What the heck? Back legs straight back, four straight forwards - about 6 or 7 inches LS. Oh look! An alien. I put my hand out for it to have something flat to see what it really looked like. 'Oh thanks! A launch pad!' Two foot leap onto my bed and light speed vanished off the far side.

Holy heck you're lucky! Hit a deer with your car and you have a cracked windshield and a dead deer. Hit a moose with your car and you've got a busted car and a very angry moose 😆

Moose! Slips and falls down. Brakes. Turn wheel. Starts to skid............. I still have that vivid picture making me twitch every time I recall it. And looking out the side window at it as we passed, it's rack taller than the top of the van.
