some Venezuelan arachnids

heres a few pics of some cool arachnids i found if anyone has any ids please post them as i am interested. first is a whipscorpion

lastly i believe this to be a Nephila sp. correct me if im wrong. it had the most impressive golden web which was unbelievable strong felt more like guitar strings

Wolfspiders dont climb as far as I know, that look more like a wandering spider (Ctenidae)

does the family ctenidae have any distinctive features about the eyes i seem to recall this one having something that i remarked as being rather interesting, though at the moment i cant recall exactly what that was. Sorry that was about as vague as it can come. :)

I agree with Crotalus. I see plenty of wolf and huntsman/wandering spiders in my yard and your pic is definitely not a wolf. It sure has the general shape of a huntsman, though bulkier than our native species. I couldn't tell you which one it is, but I'd bet the rent it's a type of huntsman.

whatever it be huntsman or wandering spider it was a fast, vicious and according to local lore potent arachnid. one which you definitley wouldnt want to cross paths with in a bed or accidentally they supposedly quite the little biters, with venom that packs a punch.
