To the "grabbing" of the hopper, up till it was dead, took all but exactly 11 seconds!!!

Wow That *B* smithi is a messy moulter.... What is the Pokie species in the last post? and a word of advice, many people on the board disagree strongly with the feeding of live vertebrates to Anything

It is a 6.5" F Poec. formosa

And yes, I already knew that people on here strongly disagree with this kind of feeding, and for those people I'm really sorry, it has been known that it can be pretty healthy for the spider though, and it can make a pretty good shot also, I dont want to start some kind of debate thread here or anything! :) Again very sorry!

Healthy to occasionally feed vetebrates, don't have to be alive. Sorry moving along, I cant wait for my formosa's to get to that size, did you raise her from sling? if so how long did it take. also i like your Hentzi a spider i find most people over look, yours is gorgeous. braver man than I feeding so manyhoppers at once, i wouldnt like to see the mess after all of them

Hahaha, oh you'd love the mess afterwards! AND the smell! :} Not really, it is disgusting! The good thing is, is that with the few T's I feed hoppers to, they all slurp up every bit and when they are through, make a little ball out of the left overs, and drop it off in the corner of their tank! Makes it very easy to pick up! No searching for that awful thing! :D When I first got her, she was around 3", now shes 6.5"! I've had her for 3 and a half years.
