they are pretty near perfect specimens..never lost a leg or whip yet.:clap:
very cool pets..though the vinny is my fave.
the Diadema is fast and secretive..wont even let me watch it feed..lol.

i do have one question for anyone out there that knows the answer. mine is missing one whip and i was wondering if it will ever grow back. it has molted once in my care but i didn't see any regrowth

mmm..good question.
i am curious also..in cas3e it ever loses one.

They can regenerate whips. I have one wild caught female that regenerated a whip and two legs from the femur out in one molt! I was amazed!

Don't know how long you've had it, but if yours didn't regenerate with a new molt it most likely lost it too close to the molt. It should happen with the next molt, although it may also depend on where the break occurred.
