They arent Gromphadorhina grandidieri, they are Princisia vanwerebeki.

Yes i know, I bought the tiger hissers as Princisia vanwerebeki, they are sold in Europe as Princisia vanwerebeki, im aware that some sellers in the US sell them as "Gromphadorhina grandidieri"

Hi, I've seen you on some other boards before. Very nice samples from your collection.

Looking at your second picture, did you actually manage to breed velvet worms? I've not heard of much success with them in captivity. How are you keeping them cool in this weather? Very interesting little critters, don't see them offered for sale often.

Oh, i thought you were from Europe, i just wasn't sure, cool. I think it's kinda funny how they go under different species names in different countries:)

I didnt actually breed my velvet worms, but some of my ones are captive bred, I bought several adults and captive bred babies recently, the person I bought them from told me the babies were captive bred, they are tiny, so I assume they are. Im keeping them on the floor of my shed, and spraying them heavilly daily, they are doing ok at the moment, I'll be getting more adults in a few weeks.

Yeah Ive noticed that as well, mainly with cockroaches, a lot seem to be spelling mistakes, but a few are completly different names, it makes it confusing, since Latin names for animals are suppose to be the same in every country.
