one time i was trying to cull out a clutch of black widows... taped a metal box shut and put egg sac in it. put metal box in closet. my brother opened the closet to find the egg sac had popped... and metal box was _*NOT*_ spiderling proof. figure there were at least 100 babies in the process of dispersing when we found them. that was the only time in memory i've used death spray on bugs =P

turns out you can cull in a big freezer bag... much easier and seals better =P
