This package arrived today and all are very active.

This guy was an accident. I ordered a g. rosea and I was surprised to find a P.M labeled on a vial. I consider this a bonus.

This is a fatty Lasiodora parahybana.

This is also a Lasiodora parahybana. This guy seems a little small in the abdomen and darker than the above lp, I think the other one is lighter because it had a recent molt.

It probably is a bonus, but what the heck does P.M. stand for? If someone's going to send you a bonus, you'd think they'd have the courtesy to write out the full name of the species.

Nice pickups. Cant go wrong with a obt freebie. LP's grow super fast so pretty soon they will be big. The second pic slign looks lighter then i remember my LP ever being.

PM is P. murinus (orange baboon tarantula) well im assuming it is as mine looked liek that as a sling.

I do not think the p. murinus was a bonus I think they just fudged my order as I ordered three Ts and got three. The reason I do not really care is that I have a nice mature female P murinus that hopefully I can mate this with.

I'm think you have it backwards. The skinny, darker one has recently molted. Its obviously showing more hair then its pale sibling.
Make sure yuo contact the seller about the mix-up, they will probably make it right.

Well my point was that the original poster shouldn't have to "assume" what the T. in question is. Those initals could stand for a scientific name or a common name or anything the sender thinks it may be called. I'd be in contact with the sender just to clarify what it is for sure, though he may be right with his assumption, that is my point.

But he might choose to keep his mouth shut since he thinks it was a fudged order rather than a freebie and he doesn't care. ;)

It looks like P. murinus sling to me. I'd rather have a P. murinus than a G. rosea anyway. That's just me though...

I didnt realize you got it instead of something, but if it was instead of a rosea i say the obt is better. Plus you can get larger roses farily cheap so you dont have to wait years for it to grow.

I get the seller shouldnt have to assume what it is, but you cant really expect the seller to write down the names on ever vial especially of a common species. Im sure he figured you could just contact him to see, but im fairly sure its an obt.

Waldo, the pale lp i think would be dark if ready to molt, not light. When mine was 3/4" and up it was never that pale and the patch on its abdomen would get darker when ready to molt, not lighter

If not on a vial, then on an invoice or something. But since it wasn't a bonus but a mix up, I can see why it wasn't. You'd know what you ordered and a shortform would suffice, since the sender obviously assumed that's what he ordered. It's all good.
