Added a few more of these to the groups to make sure we have a good starting group for this project. It is a blast opening the cage and hearing these bark at me as they run and hide.
No hotspot on these. Ambient temps in the room drop to 70 or so at night and up to the mid 80s during the hottest part of the day. The top of one cage is sealed with ventilation in the sides. The other cage has holes in the top, but these are kept in my tropical room so the ambient humidity is a bit higher than the other rooms.Hello Jmugleston.
Do you keep these guys with sealed toped lids?
What is the temperature gradient inside the cage? IE hotspot and cool side.
Thanks
Alejandro
Any UV light exposure?
I feel your pain; I've been interested in this species for years and have had difficulty finding any. Don't have the time or space now...some dayIm still trying to find a breeder/someoe carying these in canada, No luck so far. due to people have "no intrest" so says the breeders I've talked to thus far
Perhaps if we both collectivly work together, we could get Jmugleston to register some paperwork and ship us someI feel your pain; I've been interested in this species for years and have had difficulty finding any. Don't have the time or space now...some day
