Chopped up crix is a good idea!
I should try it since how the nerves always make them twitch when their heads are gone
Thx for the idea!
Later,

P.S congrats on the new versi`s and good luck with them!

A versicolor are very good eaters. They should go for cricket parts with no problem. Just keep them well ventilated, and remove uneaten parts (I'm sure you know that!)
I just fed all 44 of mine yesterday, and they acted like they hadn't eaten for weeks (They just ate 3 days ago), so they will eat as much as you give them...the little pigs!

if you have a larger collection, remove the legs off your crix b4 feeding them to your larger Ts. use the legs to feed the slings

Was the "go down to fetch the food" thingy I was wondering about. These are my first versis :D Love em already.. My five OBT slings are all a bit bigger, and kill almost adult crix with ease :p (nice venom i guess). My collection's gettin bigger, I've even started to notice the cricket costs! They're expensive! hehe.. With 13 T's I have to buy like 60-100 crix a wheek (got a big parahybana..oughta start givin it small lambs soon :p ) :p thats like uuuh...30$ bucks a wheek or something :) Wish they were easier to breed (crix)..

thats a lot for crix. why so many? i got 7 Ts and i only get a dozen a week. you could try to get a roach colony started.

As I said, that parahybana eats ALOT! been givin her some freezed rats, but everything's far too expensive here in Norway...I'm considering to start up a roachcolony, but not really sure where I could get the specimens i need to start...

Edit: hoping to bring the parahybana's eating level down after fillin her up with rats though.. maybe I wont have to buy that many crix then :)

Nice to see Im not the only norwegian here Schlinkey. Crix are expensive here in Norway, normal price around 5 norwegian kroner each(about 0.7 USD). BTW where in Norway are you from?

Where do you get 0.07 from 0.70? I don't know that he meant to say 70 cents US (and I'd be shocked if that was what he meant), but he definitely did not say 7 cents.
