My Pink Zebra Beauty. The lighting isn't that great, and I didn't take a final picture after right after she was done. It was blindingly pastel pink right after it flipped over.

Yup, I missed a step here, I was running around doing stuff, and I thought it would take a lot longer to get to this point.

You sure that's a PZB? It looks like a G. aureostriata to me, maybe only because the pics are so small.

Same here - PZB usually has white markings, not gold/yellow...

I am quite confused on whether it's PZB or a Chaco. Bought as a PZB in a pet store. It was my first tarantula. I wasn't sure it really was a PZB when i bought it, as it didn't look very pink. I read all the stuff on the Costa Rican Zebra, and concluded it wasn't that, and then I gave up. I didn't think about the Chaco at the time.

If you caught the either the of those two genus picture threads earlier, we debated this briefly. Btw, those are clickable thumbnails.

No orangish spinnerettes or tan underside, as you can probably see, so not A semmani.

Very docile.

It was a blinding pastel pink right after it filipped over, but it seem to be going gold as it's hardening up. The molt has golden knees.

If a Chaco can be pink and gold then it's a chaco.

The molt is 3 inches from leg I to leg IV so that may give you an idea of how big it is now.

I can take more pictures if you guys want.

Over the next several molts you'll know if it's a G. aureostriata or not by the size.

Discussed on chat and stared a photos for a bit. It's a Chaco.

I guess I got a good deal, considering how big it was when I bought it.
