Thanks, but I don't have any Avicularia species since yesterday (sold it)... so no more fotos of versicolors...

But soon I'll have more fotos of Poecilotheria, Haplopelma spp. :D

Have you purchased your Phormictopus cubensis and Heteroscodra maculata recently?
There are mites on them! A lot!

No, I have them longer, and I know they have mites, but they are well. I keep them drier, and wait for the moult. Don't want to use alcohol on the lil' fellas.

The confusing thing is, my slings have such things. But if You look at the juvenile Ts, they don't have any...

What do you feed your slings? Feeding opened or decapitated crickets and mealwormpieces can promote mites!

Just living crickets, but that looks much more worse, than it really is. They are not apathic, the are eating well etc. So no problem with that. I think this mites come from the substrat.

I don't have time to visit spider sites. I'm now working very hard (nine hours a day) and i'm studying biology at saturday and sunday every week.
Ctenizidae sp. how big is she?

Glad to hear that!
But I would change the substrate after their next molt! Just to be sure that the eggs, that might be in the soil, are gone.

I'm glad I could help!

Darum poste ich in keinem deutschen Forum, hier sind mehr Leute, das Klima ist gut und ich verbessere mein Englisch nebenbei auch noch!
