Hey,

First post in years around here, Ive since lost interest in keeping bugs, but I was just in Mexico and I took some pictures of some bugs that I would like ID'ed

The pictures are pretty cool too.

Dont really need an ID on this next one, but I found these ants carrying this dead cockroach up a vertical surface. Really incredible thing to see.

And I found this squashed on the road.

Also, this was at an archaeological site. It is a path, roughly 40 feet long made by ants.

That's all. If you have any identification for any of them please post it here.

Also, if you have any interest in seeing unrelated photos of my trip, here is the link to the gallery.

Thanks.

Here's the best I can do:
Pic 3 looks like some sort of assassin bug nymph
Pics 4&5 look like some sort of true bug based on the body shapes
Pic 7 is a vinegaroon, neat little creatures

Pic 2 appears to be a Spotted Cucumber Beetle Diabrotica undecimpunctata howardii or a close relative

#5 is a leaf-footed/legged bug of sorts (true bugs). And the squashed bug is a vinegaroon (I dont know them that well, so I cant give genus or species name)...

I'm pretty sure #5 is a Anisocelis affinis
and #1 should be Chalcolepidius zonatus
As for the vinegaroon...Mastigoproctus giganteus or something similar...
that's the best i can do...

The little ''scorpion'' is indeed a pseudoscorpion... I think it's a Neobisium maritimum.
