Nice pics, especially E. tiaratum leaving egg. I tried to catch them in the same situation for 3 years... but not succesfull. Congrats!

Can you tell me latin name of first phasmid? Some kind of Extatosoma? It looks fantastic. I've never seen something like that.

The last roach

That last roach has gotta be Macropanesthia rhinoceros from Australia. Always wanted one, but I'm not dishing out $300 for one {D

NICE pics!!! Those are some giant roaches... Haven't seen roaches those size since I last visted guyana.

Dark Raptor..

the phasmid should be Phyllium siccifolium..its the gift from my fd last yr.
the pics was took within the first 2 days after it go out from the egg...
after few days, they will change to green colour.

i just got some lucky to do it...i hvnt concern to spend time to wait for it..
just luckily to hv this good timming..and i took the pics immediately~

Thanks for the info. I've never seen young Phyllium insects and never kept them. That was something new for me.

i love the tad pics too...they doing well now..but its hard to c them in their tank..they ar too tiny..i think only arround 5~6mm now~

i think they are good pets or ned item in collection as they ar very hardly and
easy to feed..i still remember at last yr..my fd send me 3 E.t. and # Phyllium
nymphs..i hvnt use any cage and free housing them..i put them all in a branch
of leaves(their food) in a vase and just place them at the top of the shelf...i feed them from L1~L2 size..finally..each species hv had one escaped cos the food was not enough~

there hv another sp. or sub-sp. with yellow/black colour patteren...but
i like the red one more...:D :D

Wow....you've got quite a collection of critters there! That's really cool that you're breeding the Chin. croc lizards....not many people seem to be working with them and they're such really cool herps. :clap:
