Adult bearded dragon is also a cricket vacuum. I've seen some large specimens take 50-100 per week. Or just get one of those insect glue traps, but keep it away from your other pets unless you want to find them dead or have the fun of prying them off.

I "only" have a very inquisitive and playful cat that enjoys pouncing on every small object that moves so I guess that should work too in case I don't get the escapees back into the lines of the chain gang in time... ;)

worst comes to worse... do the unthinkable that any T keeper would cringe at the mere thought of.... start vacuuming :D

"By jove that's just crazy enough to work"

I'm going to go collapse on my dirty carpet now. Honey... just Vacuum around me, and try not to bump my head so much like last time.

Cute eh?
Hey man, do you know how they prevent the mice from hurting them or their insides when they swallow them? I know nothing about these things so forgive the ignorance. Very tough skin I guess but are their jaws powerful enough where it crushes mouse or something? And a brief explanation will suffice, I prefer to use this discussoin forum rathr than getting pointed to google.

I would speculate that the mouse Dies quickly from the horrific smell inside the toad...

I dont have a true anser I think it must harm the toads , but lots of ppl regularly powerfeed canes mice ,the toad would definatly not eat another if the last one tasted bad or hurt they have an excellent memory.

It must iver feel its worth the pain or is simply overwhelmed by gread.

I dont give them to mine.

Does anybody know a good place to obtain the extra large cane toads at a reasonable price?
