I have had this female for a while now, and was able to purchase a male today. I put them together for the first time and they didn’t show aggression at all. But as the female moved up on the male in a mating response he ran away. Their commen name is Feather leg camel spider I believe Paragalodes sp. First attempt failed. Will try again later. Does anyone have some information on the genus?

I think you're meant to let them chase eachother in a large open space, no first-hand experience though.

When they mate it kinda looks like the male is eating the underside of the female, there's a minidoc about it on YouTube.

As said above, these guys like a LOT of space. Id recommend something like a large plastic tub from target with some hiding places.

Could I see your setup? I'd love to own this species in the next 5 or 10 years and have been trying to learn as much as possible about everyone's preferred care and setups. I have seen success with a small plastic enclosure and also heard that they need lots of space, as well as some saying they chew through the lids and others saying no need for a lid.
