After seeing that, ive decided to get my dogs fixed, starting with my male. Unfortuntely they mated yesterday. Ive been trying for 2 weeks to keep them apart, and it was successful until yesterday when I turned my back my son let my female dog out with the male, and bam, they hooked up. Ugh. I hope she isnt pregnant, but if she is, ill start finding loving homes for the pups. The male dog will be getting fixed very soon, the other 2 will follow.
There just is no good reason for me to breed my dogs, though my fiance thinks I should, but oh well.

Anyway, just thought I would share. Such a sad story :(

Its sad, but its the truth. This is why people need to get their dogs spayed/neutered, and have proper ID on them at all times. I hate it when I hear owners (usually males!) say they just cant get their male dog/cat fixed because they will be taking away its "manhood". Give me a break.

If youre really that worried about your dog not having any "balls" so to speak- there are even places that offer testicular implants - just for dogs!

We had an adult male neutered and he was the saddest thing for about a week( had to flop over to his side instead of laying down normaly0 but after that was all healed he seemed absolutly no different than before(few ounces lighter on the scale maybe).

People need to stop breeding cats and dogs. There are just way too many now. Especially cats, but not just because there are too many... just because. {D

very upset and angered that people seem too ignorant to tag and spay/neuter their pets

but also rolling on the floor laughing over the testicular implants for dogs {D

Sad but true. Look on petfinder.org, hundreds of pets in your area waiting to be adopted.

oh my, don't even get me started on the whole spay/neuter problem. We opened our doors here June 1st, and probably had well over 100 people in here this summer trying to pawn off puppies and kittens on us. Being new in business, we of course couldn't rescue them all, it was heartbreaking. We finally got smart and wouldn't take any in unless the owner spayed the mother AND provided proof before we took in babies. Even so, it was insane. There are literally MILLIONS of unwanted dogs and cats. It's an epidemic....
