Didn't really intend on this, but oh well! It was fun! Little man started here:

Ended up here:

and then proceeded to kick it on my head for a while:

I was super calm and just went with the flow. When I felt him move I put my hands in a military solute style by my brow and just pulled my hand away with him on it when he crawled on them. He just molted into a mature male complete with spurs and all. I know I don't have a lot of time with him but he's been a ton of fun and I want to document as much as possible! Hope my tiny sling turns into a girl!

I haven't attempted to get my OBT out since he's molted a couple of times. I suppose I would get him away from his environment first but wow!! Yes, it can be done :)

Lol ... thats great ... I have a 1" OBT and am almost ... almost... scared to death of it ... when unpacking from shipping it led me on a merry dance for half an hour before I could get it into its larger deli cup lol .... I was positively sweating buckets when it ran up my arm .... wonder what i would have done in your position ... I would have probably froze ... did yo have someone else help you herd it back to its enclosure? As I am living at home alone...and have no one to help me if I got into such a situation with my OBT.. now or in the future when it's grown on a bit ......

I basically just let it chill there. It wasn't spooked in the first place and it was moving at a quick enough pace I didn't want to interrupt it's momentum- then it decided to go up my neck and onto my head. I had my fiance taking the pics and there is no way she would have helped me had I gotten freaked out. So I just kept my cool and as I felt him move like he wanted down I just put my hands over my brow in a military type of salute and as he crawled on my hands I pulled him away from my face. At no point was he skittish or defensive. I was very careful to not alarm him and everything worked out. I also did this with my Haplopelma lividum and didn't have an incident. I just suggest being as calm as possible. If the T doesn't feel the need to bite then it won't.
