it's a 14' tanned rock python hide (looks like african rock python)

No idea why anyone would have these, but it's about 14' and 13"+ wide. He goes to a weekly auction and it happened to be a few hides there and got this one at the end of the night for practically nothing.

now my question is, what would you do with this? i'd rather have the snake =) lol.. well.. prolly not if it was a wild rock python, cause it'd bite the fool out of me.

Even though it is tanned, it typically will not hold up very well. Your best bet would be to mount it on something and hang it up if you want it to stay in one piece.

belt, hat trim, or a wall piece.

i never liked snake skin stuff, but there are plenty of people who do. i like leather way better. especially for wallets, money clips, and boots(redwing man here)
