So a newbie question on my leopard gecko.

I think its in "pre shed"... its scales has gotten all milky in color over the past wto days. Is this a sign of an impeding shed?

warm spot in tank is at about 90. Cooler is at about 80. Feeding three crix a day evey day I am dusting with calcium. Once a week with multi vitamin. Have a large water dish. A hide in the warm part of teh tank and a hide in the cool part. The hide in the warm part is a humidity box with peat. Ummm... thats all I can think of... if there is any other info I can give you let me know.

How often do they shed once full grown?

Actually I will be building a really nice home for him in two weeks with an "interactive" background with ledges and hides built in. I have made some nice backgrounds for my fish tanks that have similar principles. Only this time there wont be any water proofing! A thirty gal long probobly. I am just trying to figure in the best way to design it so that it can be easily cleaned. But I will be wanting two ladies to join him. So if you have two ladies you would like to part with I would buy them from you.

Michelle (Oldhag) has AWESOME Leo's, if I may say so. When I had my Leo's, some of mine shared the same bloodline as hers, and they were beautiful.
I would definitely recommend getting some of her geckos, you'll love em!
