One of my favorite things is knowing that tarantulas have eye shine

Yeah that cracks me up!! I'll be looking around for my T in the enclosure and I'll just see the glint of their tiny eyes

Partially true- not all eyes of tarantulas have tapetum lucidum, if I recall it’s only their secondary eyes.
