Beautiful venom as always Lelle. And a vey nice hortulanus as well. I cant recall having seen such a red specimen before. Is that normal?

Edit: The coloration i mean. Not wether it's normal having seen one. :D

Hortulanus have a wide variaty in coloration - yellow, red, mixed colors etc, These are juveniles so they can very well become overall brown later on. One never really know with these species hopw the adult coloration will look like.

There are a couple of hortulanus color phases. I have seen many that are solid red and red with spots like Lelle's. There are also banana yellow ones out there. This species is extremely variable. Check out some color variants here <<click me>>

Nice pics here in AZ i cant own most of what you have there. The Crotalus mitchelli pyrrhus is awsome. Blue ones are hard to come by it seems. Or at least for me :)
