No idea Bry... I'm not real sure on how to sex snakes... all I know is the reason I didn't take closer/better pictures is because he/she's a little jumpy right now.. needs more handling. Didn't wanna stick a camera in it's face lol...

Oh, and one more thing..... we're thinking of picking up 2 amazon tree boas (one cb one wc) for $65. Good deal? They seem to be pretty friendly... except for their "smell".

Well, here's a surprise, California kingsnakes are usually pretty jumpy. I think it's funny when I touch him lightly, and he jumps and raises his body in order to push my finger away.

As for the Amazon tree boas, $65 doesn't sound like a bad price. Although 'friendly' is an unusual description for most ammies. Ammies feed pretty well, and sometimes too well. With a WC specimen, I'd be wary of possible parasitic infestations. I'd get that one checked out, just to be on the safe side. If both snakes are kept together, get both checked out.

The wild caught one has a little more of a temper to him I guess. The guy was selling them for $79 each, but he doesn't think he's gonna sell them I guess. I guess he got ripped on the price he was sold the wc one for too it was sposed to be $15 but he got charged 45 or something.... We're still discussing it. Along with the sulcata tortoise my wife wants
