Sorry if this is a silly question, but I don't know too much about hatching snakes yet and this video interested me..
I thought this was a joke but they swear it's real. Looks to me like the babies hatched then crawled back in the eggs to hide or he put them in there. Just because there's none of the usual egg goo (sorry don't know the proper term for it) that comes out with most hatchlings. Can you really have multiple snakes in one egg?

i highly doubt it. ive never hatched snake eggs (im looking into breeding corn snakes though) and from the research i did and what i know about snakes, theres a very little chance of several snakes in one egg.

2 snakes hatching from one egg happens all the time, granted they are smaller than the ones that hatch from an egg with only one snake.

Bull, I've seen lots of hatching snake pics, they come out in a membrane type thing, there is lots of goo. That is definitely staged.

I agree that video is staged but twins do happen from time to time. Not in an entire clutch but one or two in a clutch once in a blue moon.

if this video isnt staged lets just say its real..why are you being so rough with the babies for?

some of them look dead..Are they even alive?...

I've never seen someone be so rough with baby snakes...Geez...THAT has got to be a world record.

What do you mean why am I being so rough? I have no connection with that video beyond the observations I made which you quoted.
Personally I feel no need to video, or even photograph, my critters to show them off on public forums.

I think he means why is the guy in the video being so rough. I don't know how resilient baby snakes are but I would probably be more gentle with the little guys.:(
