I used to think this was one of the better channels but after watching this segment I am not too impressed.

She doesn’t believe a curly hair can be defensive? While none of mine are I’d imagine it’s a possibility. Plus the handling is a big no no lucky it didn’t leap of faith .

I've seen a number of good reptile accounts over the years upload T/invert content that was comically misinformed. But hey, gotta get those views.

I did correct her on her curly vid when they first got Grace, needed way more sub, it's a shame I like Emily and Ed but it makes me wonder if they are misinformed on albo what else are they wrong with. Also I think the t's are an Ed thing, he got so excited about the gbb, Emily was passive like she is with all animals plus Ed collects lots of inverts iso's, stick insects ect so assume the t's are him.

I watched a vid where they set up 2 new slings a gbb n I forget the other sp (was a while bk), the vivs were huge and the vents were easy escapable, it was not suitable at all. I did tell them in the comments but they don't read them, they have someone that does it for them.
I have resolved to only watching their hatching vids now, I can't resist the pull of watching tiny noodles .

If she thinks albo are chill she needs to meet my Cupcake, he would 100% leave her very itchy with at least 2 holes wherever he could reach Everything is food regardless of if its worm sized or hand sized

Its the worst thing, when people who actualy get air time, provide misinformation. Its need to be clear that what works for someone isnt the status quo. Tv is like breathing air for people. They need it. And they watch these things.

To be honest the video of her swimming in Rex's enclosure did come off as very clickbaitey. Especially the thumbnail.

Its a fascinating world we live in. In 1891, people would have thought we are aliens using words like clickbait.

I've been watching Emily's channel for years and love her videos, which are almost always very accurate. Unfortunately, when reptile folks get into T's they often think they know more about them than they do. I completely stopped watching any Reptarium videos when they got a "tarantula guy" who let the frightened and excited guests hold their spiders while standing on a concrete floor. I just couldn't support that. Emily does a lot of good and a lot of outreach, but I hope her spider info gets up to date quickly. If she's going to start featuring them on the channel, I think she'd want to have the best info. She really is about education and I can't see her not wanting to learn.
