Any book recommendations for a beginning snake hobbyist? Preferable a large detailed book on a variety of snakes from colubrids to boas. Basically I'm looking for the "Tarantula Keepers Guide" of the snake keeping hobby.
I'm not familiar with a "go to" book on par with the TKG. You might want to check out the authors John Coborn, Chris Mattison, or Philippe de Vosjoli. You might also want to pm Findi. He's an expert on herpetoculture and could probably recommend a book or two.
Totally not helpful to the OP, but when browsing threads I keep reading the title of this thread as either "Snake Boots" or "Snake Boobs". I. Need. Sleep.
Covers common pet snakes as well as other reptile groups and some inverts and gives a basic-intermediate understanding of both naturalistic and essential vivaria for all environment types.
