all my young snails seem to have a really thin part of shell just behind there head where its really flimsy. is this just growing shell or is it a problem? they have a piece of cuttlefish for calcium in there at all times.

also is it ok to pick snails up by their shell every night. i tend to give them a quick clean and food every night so i just lift them out by there shell making sure not to touch any flesh. justy making sure this is ok and aint gonna stress them out.

That is the growing area. Make sure they have cuttle bone at all times. You can even coat their food using a powdered reptile calcium supplement or a powdered animal bone meal supplement. Male sure if you do that there are no added vitamins because some of them can be toxic to your snails.
