Smeringus Mesaensis

I have been looking online for information/ care sheets etc for smeringis mesaensis all day and cannot find anything substantial. does anyone have some info?
i dont know much about scorpions and ive heard mixed messages about heat lamps and mats- whats best?

I just use basic lightbulbs or the newer compact fluorescents to haet my enclosures. I just adjust the wattage as the temp in the bug room changes...plus I have all my inverts in a closet with a shower cutrain for a door...works ery well when closed in the winter...I just open it up in the summer and change most lightbulbs to low wattages of the compact fluorescents.

Heating pads and heat lamps(unless use to cover a wide area) are absurdly expensive for what they do and do not provide a diurnal cycle of night and day...which I prefer to simulate and believe it allows them to exhibit a more 'normal' behavior. I use a lamp timer to turn the lights on and off.
