small bugs in the isopod container

I noticed a few different types of tiny bugs in the isopod container. They look similar to the baby isopods, but up close they are not. They also move faster than the baby isopods. And I am certain they are not mites, since mites look very different from baby isopods.

I tried taking picture but the macro on my camera isn't that great. Anyone have some idea what they are?

i can take pictures of baby isopods just fine with my crappy PAS $100 nikon

the trick is to get a decent hand magnifying glass and shoot through that :)
in fact, the best seems to be the little double and triple lens fold out hand magnifiers. i think that is at least additive, if not multiplicative with my 3x optical zoom built into my PAS

i get a fairly huge amount of bycatch when i collect any substrate with bugs. usually most dies off before too long cuz i am not replicating whatever component of their life cycle that they need. i am always interested in very small stuff that can easily complete life cycles in captivity. always looking for the tiny feeders... =P

Not only that these things are small, they move pretty fast as well. They are about the size of the mites. Actually as I was trying to take pictures of them, I think there are another kind of tiny bugs which are even smaller (like 10X smaller) than the one that I am trying to find out what they are.

I have the same triple lens fold hand magnifier as well, that's how I could tell they weren't baby isopods. I tried using it on top of my 4x optical zoom macro on the cannon sd but I couldn't get to make them stay in the frame.

I'll try posting what I have and see if you can id them.

this is the best my camera could do. the surface is inside of an avocado skin.

at the top right corner, that's the larger of the tiny bug (which is about the size of baby isopods), and to the left of it is a mite (the red round spot).

the other kind of bug which is much smaller, i guess we'll never be able to tell what they are.
