Most likely the Salticus was focusing on an object or prey of some sort when the sitticus moved in without it noticing spotted and leaped. Usualy if they see each other they will turn rapidly to look at each other and use their legs/body movement to decide who is the more dom. Other ways of jumper versus jumper predation I have seen is one is startled and literally runs into its death.
Edit I can NO where near for sure this is what has happend do the the time that the larger of the two has been feasting but looking from positioning I think the Sitticus snuck up behind the Salticus, but this is an assumption and the Sitticus may have simply moved the corpse while feeding
