So, certain things happened that are putting my hog island boa on hold. Even if those things didnt happen I still wouldnt have been able to go to the show since i've come down with a horrible cold. ANYWAY, I've named w/c baby yellow rat snake, Simon. Hes a cutie but is fairly anti-handling. He hasnt bit me yet but hes sure thought about it! He really is a cutie though! He eats like a champ too and I've FINALLY caught pics of him eating! These were the smallest pinkie mice I could find but they still look a bit large for him. He hasnt regurgitated anything yet so I suppose they arnt too big for him. I think he'll be good on these pinkies for quite a while. I'm still holding out for his first shed! Still no sign of one coming but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I measured him to be around 1' 3-5". =D

My first time actually seeing him eat! (He wont snag the pinkie out of the tongs so I have to leave it laying there for him).

Good thing you didn't waste your time there...couldn't find a single Hog Island Boa. Most of the snakes I saw were in poor to okay condition...I watched one of the vendors set up their station and they dropped two of their chameleons right in front of me. Didn't even think anything of it. =\

Edit - They also had a lot of wrong names for some of the snakes, but most notably for the arachnids. I was tempted to buy one of the "rare" red claw scorpions! (just kidding -.-)
