This cat remembers Soviet Union and was bought in Kaliningrad.
This is the most lazy animal I've ever met...

This is very characteristic body part... hairs between toes.

Something went wrong...

Let's go east comrade Lenin :)

Too much vodka... khmm... valerian ;)

I'd been considering getting a Siberian Cat from time to time. I like big cats, but here in the US this breed is extremely expensive. I'd wanted one as a more laid-back alternative to a Maine Coon, a very large long-haired breed native to our country, but the two Maine Coons I've had were both "wired', and one had such a high prey drive that no other animal was safe around him, including other cats and any dog smaller than he was(he weighed 23 pounds, by the way).

I have never seen those before. They are great. Are the ears extra large or is it my imagination?

Most likely it was just a personality thing, or maybe this cat was a stray before you got it? I find that stray kittens tend to behave a bit differently than a cat that was never stray, but this isn't always the case. My friend has a large male Maine Coon that is probably the most laid-back cat you'll ever met, second only to Dark Raptor's Siberian. :) He doesn't go into hunting mode with small animals around him. When other cats hiss at him, he just ignores them and walks away. It's always funny to see the other cats get a confused look like "Hey! Come back here!"

I think these long ears were "created" by macro mode in my camera :D

This cat is incredible. I can only compare its behavior with dog. She (it is a female) never attacks anybody and she's very patient when you are playing with her. She's now 15 years old, so this is the reason of her laziness. When she was much younger, she was able to catch almost anything like small birds, rodents, insects ect.

...and two more pics :D

Those are excellent pictures - though perhaps it is because your cat is so lazy that it makes a better than average feline subject.

Your composition though regardless - very nice! I've seen a lot of cat photography and rarely is it anything worth looking at twice. :) Wait... it's not stuffed is it? :D

I've tried shooting them recently, to no avail.

...but I still think that taking pics of invertebrates is much better for me
