Show me your P•Z•B!

Recently found this venerable Pink Zebra Beauty(Eupalaestrus campestratus). These guys are slow growers, but worth the wait! She is right at 6 1/2". This photo does not really do her justice - I will try to get a better one.

can you please post a pic with her by a ruler? i had no idea they could attain such a size, for the record i am not doubting you I just think it would be cool to see. and yes i have to agree with the growth rate

Here is one of mine next to a ruler, she is quite big really slow and i actually have never seen her move. lol she eats though little jumps within a few cm from her original spot, truly one of the laziest t's let alone animals i have ever seen

Man! I had eye-balled the size of my PZB and was way off!
Well, you know what women say about men being able to judge size . . .
If I am reading this properly (femur 1 to femur 4), she is right around 5 1/2".

hey chris did you raise yours from slings? if so how long did they take to get that big?

I got both of the female around 3" and they haven't grown but another inch since a year has passed.

The male went from 1/2" sling to the one that you see in the pic which is about 3" now in a years time. He is in premolt and will molt anyday! I can't wait till he matures!

wow that is fast for the male, hopefull the little one that i have will turn out to be female mine was about .75" when i got it back in october of 04 and is barely 2" at the moment. im assuming you will be breeding in the future, best of luck

Thanks Stubby,

She had molted and I took the pic right after the molt. She still looks the same now a couple months past the molt.'

I won't get rid of them unless some undesired situation comes up like what almost happened 2 months ago (Lost Job).

I am however breeding the two females with the male when he matures.

Am I wrong measuring from femur 1 to femur 4? Does one measure just the body or what??
Well, she's old anyway.

People measure them differently, some measure bodies...and some measure legspans.

I usually go from left 1 to right 4 (Diagonal)
