Should I be concerned about feeder crickets giving jumpers parasites?

Do you know if feeder crickets are high risk for passing off parasites that could kill Jumpers? I was reading another thread about that concern with Ts but someone said the parasites would have to be "tarantula specific" to be of risk to Ts. So I'm just asking if crickets or really any other feeder bug carrying parasites is big concern for jumping spider health? I buy the crickets from pet stores because it's easy and try to keep them as clean as possible but the conditions they come from is never very clean so I just wonder.

Thanks

I'm not positive, but I think you can rest easy with store bought crickets provided they don't look slimy or lethargic and aren't smelly. The latter is my own personal preference...but you know that decomposition smell they get...I toss those to the isopods

The concern for parasites was something of an internet myth, there has been a rise of peeps questioning that store bought crickets are worth using. That’s damn crazy. Don’t fall into Camp Crazy.
Now I “know” that didn’t start here, and it likely came from stupidtube or some other idiot site.

Crickets aren’t clean no matter who keeps them.

I have never found crickets to be unsafe. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet

Nah. But if you already have roaches, scoop up an ooth or 2 ;) Then put out traps...

I feed all my jumpers crickets with no issue. No wild caught crickets though!

I haven't had any problems with chain petstore feeder crickets. You should be fine.

I can just imagine a cricket controlling a tarantula youtuber like ratatouille to say that they are dangerous to feed spiders.

Crickets are spreading a misinformation campaign in an attempt to get hobbyists to use less crickets and more roaches.

Kinda like those cows at Chick-Fil-A!

I don't use the typical store "house crickets" (A. domesticus).

I use "banded crickets" (G. sigillatus).
