Anyone know if its legal to ship things into Arizona?
I know they dont allow people to ship native species out..... but what about shipping things in? Specifically roaches and scorps?

I have received roaches in the mail here, as well as Tarantulas and Scorpions no problem, I am not sure why some people do not ship roaches to AZ.

Are you looking for anything in particular? I sell roaches in and ship out of Arizona if you are looking for feeder roaches. Other than that I can't help you much...

Let me see if I understand this correctly...

I am going to Az in late may to visit my mother. She has Ts all over her property. I figured I would catch one or two and mail it back to me here in Pa. Now I see this and what I'm getting from it is that it's against Az law to send a T out of the state...is that right?

Odinn,
i really dont know. thats why im inquiring in here, thought maybe some of the more knowledgeable memebers from AZ might know whats up.

And actually my question is geared more towards sending stuff into Arizona , not removing native life....

For what its worth i cant find anything at all online regarding these laws..... must not be looking hard enough

Perhaps I will just take my chances anyway and pack it up and mail it to me. In all likelyhood, nobody will even know except my mother and I'm sure she won't mind giving some of them up.
Thanks for looking and letting me know.

Yes

Shipping roaches to any state requires a permit. Nobody follows the rules, but that does not mean they don't exist. It's taking me almost a year and a lot of headaches to get permits, but they are a few bad seeds out there that will turn you in and I really don't want to be fined by the government.

insects

There are only a handful of insects you do not need a permit from the USDA to ship. You have to fill out a 526 then it has to get approved by the Maryland HQ, then by each State. So you need a least 49 permits to ship to the US states. When shipping overseas then Fish & Game wants you to have an import/export as I found out the hard way.
