I am going to be sending out some of my stock to a friend in California and am very nervous as always about shipping live animals. However, while I know how to ship fish, I really don't know how to ship inverts. I've got the insulated box and all that jazz, but what material to I put them in? How do I package them in there? Do I need to include food or anything? Advice of experienced shippers much appreciated!

I put mine in a deli cup with wood shavings (Aspen) and placed in a secure insulated container so the deli cup cannot move around. No food or water is needed if shipped express or 2-3 day priority.

It's really hot here right now so you should probably include a cold pack too. I lost a few shipments of roaches recently because they got cooked on the way :(
