I might be getting a new shelf in a few days. Currently I keep my Crested gecko on a table and across the room I keep my tarantulas and a couple of scorpoins. My question is would it be a problem to put the T's and gecko on the same shelf?
Geckos have incredible eyesight, and assuming the enclosures were made of glass the gecko will become aware of the Tarantulas. Ive got a Frog Eyed Gecko, and would personally put a partition of some sort between them to prevent line of sight.
I cant be certain, at all, but Im under the impression the gecko was nervous and flighty everytime his shelf-mate, a hatchling Red Tail was out and about.
i agree. thats sort of like puting a snake in a glass cage next to rats or 2 male betas in one of those small tanks with a clear divider.. stress out the animals. and just plain mean... as for on the same shelf id say grab some cardboard or even construction paper [or any paper really] and tape it up on the side. if you realy wana go all out id say paint it but im sure your better off doing paper/cardboard
