I still could be wrong because it's still young but @Lubed Tweezer would have a better guess at this...

From what I know, male and female LQs have the same lifespan...

yeah i think its around 28-29 on the one side, the other is not really clear, i think i should wait for it to get a lil bit bigger and observe it once again. thx tho
I need a more sharper magnified picture, but the middle pic I believe I am getting a 28-29L 28-29R count if I am not losing a couple or few pectine teeth due to the combination of blur and glare. That would make it female if the count is correct.

Yes it could be male and said as much I because when I magnify these pics the pectine teeth become increasingly difficult to identify and become obscure around the booklungs.

I am still getting 28-29. But need better pictures. Pectine tooth count is most reliable. However the shape of the pectines look female also. Also note the body shape especially the differences in the shape of sixth and seventh mesasomal segments. 20210120_092638.jpg

But that won't change the PTC.

Some people would say right off the bat it is female due to this configuration of the pectines

/ \ female, /\ male.

However PTC is the only way to be 100% sure.
What I meant by it still being young was the body shape, not the PTC

True body shape is not a reliable method even in adults however adult females have a wider "trunk" than the males.

And also adult males particularly in LQ (does not apply to all Leiurus species) have a thinner manus but that too is even more unreliable especially to untrained eyes.

I did enlarge the photo drastically and recounted again earlier, this time I got 28-29
