You can tell the difference by the last ventral abdominal segment, males have two smaller ones in about the same space where females have a single larger one. It's fairly noticable on adults but harder to see on nymphs, if you look at a bunch it becomes more obvious. This holds true on many species of roaches. I posted some pics a while back, if you search on sexing roaches you should find them as well as many others.
