Hello, I just recently got a black death feigning beetle (Cryptoglossa variolosa) and I'm wondering how I can identify it's gender. I know for bdfbs, you can tell the gender by if the beetle has hair on its antennae, with the males having long hair on theirs. I'm wondering if the same applies with these beetles as well?
Here's some pictures of the little guy incase someone can identify the gender from the body alone. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!
